The Problem

As more and more renal dialysis patients are moving from regular (sometimes daily) visits to the hospital to home dialysis they often find themselves feeling increasingly isolated and alone

Dr. Christopher Chan wanted to research this, and what effect a bulletin board type system could have to mitigate this problem.

The Solution

In order to provide this system quickly and cost effectively, Eyesopen chose to customize the popular phpBB bulletin board system rather than building a system from scratch.
