The ProblemThe Centre for Global eHealth Innovation wanted to produce a site which they could use to study the interaction between patients and their health care providers if they were given the means to communicate over the Internet. |
The SolutionEyesopen worked with the Centre and their other partners to develop a site which would allow prostate cancer patients to access their PSA results securely over the Internet, including PSA result history, trends and a customized video message from a health care provider. Study of the viability of the system from a patient and physician perspective is ongoing at the moment, but several Ontario hospitals are interested in the project. |
